Time changes under the crushing weight of a heavy world—feels slower somehow, while moving faster than ever.  Carrying such an impossible burden makes you ever stronger, yet its unyielding mass holds you still. Feelings of hope—of something better than this—grow more urgent. But you wait, immobilized and yearning, unsure even of what to hope for. While time moves on without mercy.

"Time Waits for No One", the second single of a 3-song EP written by Wes Walls during the dark hours of the pandemic, is a bleakly optimistic pop song that grasps for something to believing in, while meditating on the feeling of being trapped in circumstances outside your control.

Produced by Atom Percy of the band Avro and inspired by the sound of Harry Styles' Fine Line album, "Time Waits for No One" is an upbeat pop-rock jam haunted by lush analog synth and an aching, harmony-rich vocal delivery.
